Gentamicin sulfate ophthalmic solution is indicated in the topical treatment of bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, corneal ulcers etc. It requires a prescription from your veterinarian.

Cautions:

Tell your veterinarian if your pet is using other eye drops or eye medications, before using Gentamicin Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution. Contact your veterinarian immediately, if your pet has swelling of the face or itching, or appears to have difficulty breathing. Do not touch the dropper opening to any surface including eyes or hands as it is sterile and if becomes contaminated, it could cause an infection in the eye. Do not use this medication if your pet has a viral or fungal infection of the eye. It is used for bacterial infections only. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is pregnant or lactating.

What happens if I miss applying a dose:

Apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, disregard the missed dose and give only the next scheduled dose.
